As a classical pianist, Marco has performed all over the world and has an excellent track record and experience. He is recommended for those who want to delve deeply into classical music. He has collaborated with numerous symphony orchestras globally and has made numerous appearances at embassies and in the media.
Moreover, he has recorded complete collections of classical works, including those of Mozart and Schubert, for multiple labels. With extensive teaching experience, Marco has served as a professor at music universities and conservatories. He offers a wide range of instruction, covering piano repertoire from the basics to composition, spanning from Bach to 20th-century composers. At an advanced level, he constructs programs for concerts and exams, providing guidance until the completion of the pieces.
Biography
MARCO ALBRIZIO was born in Rome in 1961, he graduated with highest marks from the Conservatory of S.Cecilia under the guide of Anna Maria Martinelli andthen studied with Sergio Cafaro. He also graduated cum laude in Musicology at the University of Bologna with a thesis on the "Constant Compositive Elements in Mozart’s Piano Sonatas". On the same topic, he participated as speaker at the II National Conference of Musical Analysis in 2001, Guest Lecturer at the Assumption University of Bangkok and as Professor in post-graduate Masterclasses in Musical Analysis at the University of Calabria.
Awarded in many national and international competions, besides teaching Piano and Musical Analysis at the Music Conservatory of Perugia, he devoted himself to an intense concert activity as a solo pianist and in chamber music all over the world, including University of Bologna, Roma Tre University, Musical Festival of Nations in Rome, Embassy of Austria in Rome, and as soloist with the Perugia and Umbria Symphony Orchestra, Pescara Symphony Orchestra and the Instrumental Ensemble of Rome.
He recorded for RAI participating in the broadcast Europa Musicale. For the Vatican Radio he recorded the complete Mozart's Piano Sonatas and Schubert’s Impromptu and produced several musicological broadcasts as speaker and performer.
He recorded for Novarte, DAD Records and Sheva Collection, always obtaining critical acclaim. The Sheva Collection label edited his recordings of the complete Mozart’s Piano Sonatas and Schubert’s Impromptu in 2011. From 2013 the same label is editing his Schubert’s Piano Sonatas in nine CDs, five of which have already been released.
